Southern Partners Fund Mission:
We are a Foundation created to serve Southern communities and organizations seeking social, economic, and environmental justice by providing them with financial resources, technical assistance and training, and access to systems of information and power.
Eligibility:
Southern Partners Fund membership is open to Individuals who are Board members, members, staff and/or volunteers of organizations eligible to be grantee partners of Southern Partners Fund or Individuals who share the same values of SPF.

Membership Committee: Responsible for membership administration, membership development, nominations for Membership and nominations for Board Members.

Philanthropic Operations Committee: Responsible for grantmaking, reviewing and evaluating grant applications and technical assistance.

Finance Committee: Responsible for budgeting, obtaining an annual audit and investment management.

Resource Development Committee: Responsible for fund development and constituent relations.

Cultural Committee: Responsible for Cultural Organizing, promoting an understanding of the culture of rural organizing, the culture of rural communities and the preservation of cultural traditions.

Agreement & Endorsement

To be considered for membership to Southern Partners Fund, the applicant must agree to become a nominee.

To become a nominee, a minimum of five (5) hours, per month, of service is required, which includes committee participation, attendance at annual membership meeting and other related activities.

A. Organizational Affiliation:

To be considered for membership, the nominee should be endorsed by the organization which they consider to be their primary organization. (Membership is for individual membership, not organizational membership)

B. At-Large: An individual who shares the same values of SPF; however, is not affiliated with an organization that is eligible to be a grantee partner of SPF:
